Advent - Lent - Pentecost

Overview

The Church facilitates the seasons, Advent-Lent-Pentecost, to 'rejoice and celebrate' the birth of the Saviour; to 'reform and correct' by the Saviour's sacrifice; to 'receive and contribute the gifts the ascended Saviour sent. Hundred devotions [Advent 20, Lent 40 and Pentecost 40] find place in this book titled Advent - Lent - Pentecost, Seasonal Devotional. Each devotion is established by the scripture text, analyzed in context and illustrated by a historical or practical event or incident. The devotion begins with a short prayer [collect] and ends with a short statement [maxim] to ponder.
