Overview

Christianity needs to establish clearly its profile in contact with other religions and Non-European Cultures. The pluralism of religions is one of the two most challenging factors for Christianity in India. But this challenge is not something that has cropped up in the recent past or one that is restricted to the Indian sub-continent alone. The critical study of contra celsum has been undertaken here with a view to bringing out its relevance particularly for the Indian situation. It also brings out clearly the questions which Christianity faces today especially in India.
