Contours of Wisdom is a scholarly collection that critically engages the Wisdom Literature of the Hebrew Bible-Proverbs, Job, and Ecclesiastes-through theological, literary, and contextual lenses. Addressing themes such as the fear of the Lord, epistemology, creation order, gender, and ecological ethics, the essays interrogate the complex interplay of tradition, worldview, and textual formation. Contributors situate Israelite wisdom within broader Ancient West Asian contexts while foregrounding its theological distinctiveness.
