Overview

This book focuses on the development of the motif of creation in the exilic period and shows how the motif of creation enabled the people in exile experience life in the midst of threat to life. One of the strengths of the book is the integral approach that the author adopts in terms of the methodologies he employs in his work. The use of the historical-critical method along with the socio-historical method is indeed a healthy trend in Biblical Hermeneutics.
