Fragrance in Freiburg

Overview

Fragrance in Freiburg is the inspiring story of how the Anglican Church in Freiburg seek to embody the welcome of Christ as a spiritual home for people of many nations, languages, cultures and faiths.

The Fragrance in Freiburg initiative was made possible with the funding from the Convocation Refugee Grant Programme (CRGP) a programme of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe-supported by Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) through the Church of England's Diocese in Europe. Through this initiative the Church widened its tables of hospitality to embrace those often pushed to the margins, including refugees, asylum seekers, migrants and neighbours in need. What began with simple acts of friendship grew into relationships of trust, dignity and mutual transformation.
