Bishop Warris Masih, the Chairperson of the Liturgical Commission, writes in the preface, As the significance of liturgy is on the increase in the CNI, its importance to strengthen the organized life of our community should not be underestimated. It is, therefore, important to understand the basic structure, principles and theology of our liturgies. The present volume is an attempt to bring this out. It is clear that the Book of worship reinforced cohesiveness of the community in worshipping God. Over the years, seminars and consultations were held and literature was published on Liturgy of CNI. A Selection of these has been included in this volume for further study
