Today we face a situation where religious and communal forces fragment our society. This process of fragmentation has been aggravated by the emergence of world market, global media and consumerist ideology. There is a rise of fundamentalism in all religions which fails to address the concern of the marginalized. This book will challenge people who are not in despair to repent for their participation in oppression either directly or indirectly. The books look into two important concerns as the title suggests itself. Mission and Evangelism depends on and is determined by the kind of God we turn to. Thus it is important to look afresh at the nature or character of God who will define our lives and living. Secondly, mission and evangelism may also challenge us to consider a reversal of values and displacement of existing thinking and action. Our attitudes, perspectives and outlook will have to be examined very consciously and critically.
