Overview

In this book, "New Wine in Fresh Wineskins" we are given an insight into the God to whom he had devoted his life and service. Written in a poetic style, we too are invited to come to know again Jesus of Nazareth, who is, as the late Pope Francis reminds us, "the visible face of the invisible God". "To know Jesus, is to know the Father" we are told in St. John's gospel (Jn. 14, 9). And who is this Jesus? He is the God of Surprises; a God who has chosen to reveal himself to those who take time and prayer to be with Him. Like many mystics, and people of deep faith, Fr. Ittoop has come to rediscover Jesus through a life of prayer and meditation. He summarizes his relationship with Jesus by saying simply "Jesus, my New Wine.
