Powers in the Bible

Overview

Power is a gift God gave to human beings immediately shafter creation, saying, ‘And have dominion over the  of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth’ (Gen 1:28). Power is a double-edged sword, it can be used in the service of humanity or it can be misused for selfish gains. In this book, the author examines the various powers bestowed upon human beings as gifts. The power of forgiveness can heal; the power of money can help you to do charity; the power of prayer can bring you closer to God. The author exhorts the readers to discern how to use the powers given as gifts.
