This book is of a different sort. Given the pluralistic context of India it is not that easy to engage in a process of theologizing. As the title itself indicates and as the author confesses, this work is a "work-book" for theologizing in the Indian context rather than a neatly presented and tightly argued theological treatise giving the carefully considered theological conclusions of the author. He is offering a wide range of background materials for theologizing in the Indian context. Various chapters on inspirations in non-biblical scriptures, the Indian context through Phoolan Devi, the Ashram ethos, secularism and so on are bold proposals to be taken seriously in the Indian theologizing context. Hence it is an invitation for serious authors in the Indian theological circles to initiate a process of theologizing and come to their own conclusions.
